Fabulous Thirst Quenchers

More whites we want you to know about! We could spend a lot of time discussing AOC’s, biodynamics, lees, foudres, etc…… but why? These are wines you need to drink, not discuss.

Cantine Elvio Tintero 2013 Moscato

Everything you could want in a Moscato. It’s special because it comes from a perfect little micro-terroir for the Moscato grape. This sustainably farmed, semi-sweet Moscato offers notes of honey, pears, wildflowers and it finishes with bubbles dancing all over your tongue. It pairs fantastically with spicy Thai dishes and sushi. Simply delicious!

It is delightfully fizzy, fresh and easy to drink….don’t say we didn’t warn you!

Château Ducasse 2013 Bordeaux Blanc

The Bordeaux Blanc of Château Ducasse is very different from others from the appellation. Hervé Dubourdieu blends a high propotion of Sémillon (60%) and a splash of Muscadelle (5%) with Sauvignon Blanc (35%), creating a rich, full, aromatic mid-palate to complement the clean finish.

The nose is bursting with pineapple, honey, pear and citrus notes. This is the perfect go-to white that pairs well with anything from savory shrimp to Indian curries. Or, if you dare, simply sip and enjoy!

pouilly sur loire-web

Régis Minet 2012 Pouilly Fumé

Pouilly-sur-Loire produces some of the greatest Sauvignon Blanc in the world, and this one is no exception. Régis’ vineyards sit at 750 feet, surrounded by hills on the far east of the Loire River, and centered proudly on the prized limestone and clay of the Kimmeridgian chain.

This Sauvignon Blanc is classy and full of terroir – with subtle notes of gunflint, gooseberries and zesty lemon. This will go with your goat cheese far better than the stuff from the South Pacific. A summer sipper for all occasions.
